Free? Really?

We have no plans to charge for attendance at the meetings or for membership of the Group.

If we ever branch out into organising fancy dinners or start selling t-shirts, then we might charge for those.

Why are you doing this if you’re not charging?

This is the networking event we wanted to find. So when we couldn’t, we decided to organise it ourselves.

We don’t get out much.

Do you have to live in Kirklees or Calderdale to attend?

Not at all. We started The Brew because we couldn’t find a networking event in Kirklees or Calderdale to match what we’d all been to in Leeds and Manchester. And we got tired of travelling.

If you want to travel to see us. You’re more than welcome. Yes, even Southerners. Ok, and Lancastrians.

Do I just turn up to the events?

Please give us a heads-up first, as it’s a members only event and we like to know who’s coming. And you’ve got nothing to lose by joining as a member.

As well as it being quicker and easier to sign-up for our events, becoming a member also gives you access to our weekly online meetings, members’ only offers and resources – and many other things we’re planning in the coming months.

What are the rules of attending the live events?

Show up if you’ve booked to attend. Bring plenty of business cards. And, please – no hard selling. Nobody likes being sold to.

Build trust, demonstrate knowledge and people will want to speak to you about possible work.
